the series . the real world: austin 03

danny whines:
as the episode opens danny is on the phone with the doctor. "i can't talk right now... i'm in unbearable pain, last night was one of the worst nights in my life." danny's hot as f!ck accent tells the camera that they are going to have make an incension just below to the eye to pop the bone back into place.
now danny wants to press charges and wants to see the tape. the best plan is to go the police. [any trip to the cops is not featured in this episode, damn, i wanted to see some muscled cowboy austin cops!]
the phone rings again and it's the doctor. we find out that the swelling needs to go down before the surgery is to begin, once it's done then the recover time is about a week. danny sits with rachel suffering, he's nervous because nothing this serious as ever happened to him. [after watching mtv's true life: i'm home from iraq- danny, quit your bitchin']
rachel trys to get danny to go out with her for some cheerup ice cream but danny doesn't want to go out like this. rachel calls him out on how childish it is to be think you're suddenly ugly and can't be seen in public by girls. rachel tells the camera "i think danny's pulling a little bit away from mel because he feels ugly and when he feels ugly, he feels like he doesn't deserve her." oh danny, you're worse than all the girls in the house.
in another bedroom, melinda [aka mel] is lying with nehemiah. melinda's boyfriend comes up because nehemiah is bring up the attraction that everyone sees between danny + melinda. i'm guessing since there's no tv or radio in the house and austin people are breaking faces outside, these other cast members might as well make up their own storylines by pushing certain castmembers together.
melinda gets on the phone with her boyfriend in another room. jason, her boyfriend of 3 years on and off, is at a bar. the conversation is bad and childish. you know how girls and guys are when one goes on the real world, it's just known there's some hot f!cker there to replace you while you're back home with people who are not new or interesting enough to be on tv. melinda tells her boyfriend that there's too many people talking in the background, and then a few words later, jason hangs up on her.
door bell, the entire austin cast gets together finding out it's a package. a package this early in the season means job! lacey reads the letter...
Dear Roommates. Your job begins tomorrow morning. Taxi will outside of your house at 9:40 a.m.
wes makes an immediate comment that "i've got to get on a better sleep schedule". lacey confesses to the camera that she hopes this job is not the stereotypical texan thing.
later that night, danny sits on melinda's bed talking about how much pain he's in. melinda finds out that he's not going out with the rest of the group and she decides to stay in with him. [here we turn on the audience 'ohhhh' track] "i kinda feel cheap in a way, i kinda use this to get her to notice me a little faster. if a wounded guy can get her attention, i'll wear a band-aid the entire time we're here."
each now begin to talk about the lack of s. e. x. melinda wonders if it's okay to start humping the bed. danny tells her to give him a call, she knows where he's at. they share a forced laugh- oh get in bed and f!ck already!
at the point, the rest of the cast escapes back into austin's dangerous streets. johanna tells the camera that she notices a bond between danny + melinda and that she's doesn't want to stay home and take care of him. she wants to go out and have a drunk- i mean good time. oh johanna, so jealous. not a good color on you.
as we return to the house, danny slips into melinda's bed... under the covers, but fully clothed. he feels like it's amazing that he gets to get to know her a little more. melinda confesses to the confessional camera that "danny sleeping in my bed feels... good. it feels like i don't have a care in the world when i'm with him." at this point danny is running his fingers through melinda's hair.
in another part of town, the real world roomies are partying it up chuggin monkey where nehemiah gets on the mic and starts freestyling words into music? god bless his camera hogin' self for this. i could never do that. i don't have the talent to make music. "i wish danny and them were here" confesses nehemiah to a sweaty-tastic wes. could nehemiah secretly lust after danny? i'm hoping one of these guys come out as bi.
back at the house, danny and melinda begin kissing in her bed. "danny is suppose to be taking it easy and not suppose to be straining, he started it." announces melinda to the camera. just as the start, the cast returns slurring words through the front door.
danny escapes the situation demanding for a cold shower. rachel and johanna get on the bed probing melinda while nehemiah sits with danny finding out how they ruined his game. danny keeps covering his face from the camera with his hands. danny just can't bare to be ugly on camera! well frankly danny, i don't give a damn if you have a complex about your looks. get over it. just walk around shirtless to make yourself a little bit better.
cut to commercial.
the job:
the house awakes as does the city of austin. wes announces in the bathroom that he only got 30 minutes of sleep. johanna tells the camera "i hope the job with my roommates will be something where we get to entertain people, i like performing."-
wait-. i give up. this season of the real world austin is just not worth reviewing. i mean the cast is entirely straight. i'm going to say it. i'm straight-aphobic. i wanted gay cast members. i wanted a gay hookup. i want bisexual experiementation and i'm getting with the girls, not the guys. damn it. check out on episode 4 to find out more what i'm going to be doing now with this reviews.
