mark ronchetti . koin 6
There's only one morning meteorologist I could watch every day... that is if i lived in Portland, Oregon. Mark Ronchetti is KOIN new 6's resident morning hottie with a smile that makes your heart beat just a tad faster. I first discovered him through some forums and have since been thinking he was in dallas tx because my Dallas meteorologist's are all fugly looking.
For those of interest, Mark graduated from Washington State University in 1997 and attended Mississippi State University's meteorology school. His biggest goal at this current moment involves a popular cable channel that this blogmaster is actually watching at this very minute. The Travel Channel! Mark says "I'm not giving up my dream to be on the Travel Channel. So if that opportunity presents itself, I may just trade in this weather gig for life on the road."
Mark is well known for his love for the four legged friends and does all that he can to help those animals in need. In his KOIN news bio we find out he owns 2 cats and a Siberian Husky named Axl who Mark says "Every morning before I leave for work Axl whispers the forecast in my ear. He hasn't been wrong in over a year. I'd say that's pretty accurate. Wouldn't you?"

Ah, but have you seen Rob Marciano? Equally as appealing in my opinion. And a former Portlander too! I saw him recently giving hurricane coverage on CNN. (You can get him on a Google image search.)

I miss him when he was doing the weather in Albuquerque, NM on ABC affiliate KOAT-7. I used to love to watch him and fellow hottie Mike Garofalo. I still watch for anchor Mike Garofalo and reporter Geoff Corkum, but I do miss watching Mark. Thank goodness for the net I guess. Have a good one all.

I went to WSU with Mark and he is so hot! I had a dream about him last night, and then googled him and found this site! He was always acting goofy and is definately not gay! He does love women, just not as much as he loves himself I think, or maybe he just hasn't met the right woman yet. Anyway, he is so hot, I would love to see him on the travel channel! Wish he would move back to seattle and we could hook up again!

I've worked with Mark in the past and let me tell you he's a hypocrite #1 I couldn't stand him, yes his funny but not attractive when you get to work with him.
Mike Garofalo? hot but not after a while, his personality kills the hot looks. He's the sloppiest person...and no they're not gay!!!

May 24 was Mark's last day on KOIN in Portland. He said he was going back to ABQ.

I love Mark Ronchetti also! I used to watch him on KOAT and was sad to see him leave to Portland. I am very happy that he is coming back to Albuquerque again. I cant wait!!

Okay, I'm a 53 yr old woman and I can tell you, the ONLY reason I watched KOIN News was because I was guaranteed cheap laughs for an hour every morning. It PAINS me to turn on KOIN now because Mark was the life of morning news and now, the only word I can think of to describe the AM news is DULL! I miss Mark! KOIN should take note -- give the audience more live real laughter to choke down morning news.
I was such a fan and miss wonderful what silly stuff Mark was going to serve up. I'm laughing thinking about laughing. hahaha
Morning news needs more Marks to keep us feeling ALIVE at 6am.

I too mourn Mark leaving Channel 6. That station is now just a cookie cutter of every other station. I turn it on now just to catch the news and the traffic then I turn on the radio. It's just not worth leaving on anymore with that Ted Baxter lookalike they have on now.

Mark will be at KRQE News 13 on July 1st replacing Mike Hernandez. Thank God! We get him back. and so you know...he is anything but gay. Can't wait to be able to laugh again.

Sorry guys it was announced last night on the broadcast here in Albuquerque that Mark is getting married on Saturday, October 14, 2006. I know he met his soon-to-be-wife while in Grand Junction, quite a few years back, but I was just wondering if anyone knows who she is. I understand she's in the broadcasting business but not sure if it's in-front or behind the camera.

When Mark Ron-Cutie was at KOAT and then left I was really sad, I used to e-mail him occassionally to let him know that he was missed here in Albuquerque, then early last year my sister saw him at a local restraunt and we knew he was back, and I am so glad. He's fraking hotttttt. Even if he's not gay, he's still a fine piece of a$$
