Reason To Watch . Project Runway

2006 is a great year for you to start watching reality shows. You can't always hate reality shows, I mean you've got to give in at some point. You're not "cool" because you dismiss those who watch and maybe worship these type of shows. You're not any better than me for switching the channel every time ANOTHER reality show starts. All you need is that important reason to watch. It's that one reason that helps anyone fully enjoy their 1st reality show.
Now when you've decided to give yourself over to reality tv there are a few things to expect. 1.) Editing that doesn't truly represent what happened. 2.) You're going to get heightened, pointless drama thanks to background music and shaky camera work. 3.) And you're going to get to see people get kicked off certain shows. How FUCKING great is that? Now that's what you can expect from nearly 99 percent of all reality shows but right now is your "reason" to watch Bravo's Project Runway.
The Fashion Show . Every episode of Project Runway builds up to a fashion show that leads to an elimination. This piece of cheaply made strip is where all the drama from the past few days comes together... on a fucking runway. When the season first starts off, there's about 14 plus models taking the runway, one represented by one contestant. Each model is draped fresh designs, i mean they're coming at you one after another. Almost non-stop. It's like a visual paradise for queers into garments.
While the models take the runway you, the critical viewer, get to join in as you and the judges make memorable facial responses. At this point you can now verbally rip apart the design while the designer themselves comment about how much they love their own pieces and how good it looks on the runway.
Everything is just happening at once creating an affective reaction from you. It just makes for great tv and is well worth the 40 minute plus build up. Of course the fashion show is always followed Heidi Klum's grand elimination catchphrases that never caught on. "You're out!" & "Auf Wiedersehen!".
