Qox Populi . 01.24.06-01.30.06
Welcome to GuyTVBlog.com's newest edition to the post family, Qox Populi! Isn't it great to learn a new pop culture phrase? This creation was ripped from the MSN Encarta Dictionary's word, Vox Populi, which means "popular public opinion" or "voice of the people". Well I decided to turn the word queer [like i do most things! wink] by making you, the reader, pronance the word as "cox poppye lee". It's fun to talk dirty, teach your friends.
This is how Qox Populi will work. The post, dated every tuesday, will remain on on the front page during the week. After I watch a show or experience something pop culture related on tv, I will post about it under each month's weekly Qox Populi. Just visit GuyTVBlog.com all week to see how it works.
Shows Attack . If you have cable then most of you have G4TV which features one show that is a "must see" television enjoyment airing 5 days a week. Attack of the Show can be described as a geeky show geared towards straight nerds showcasing gadgets, tech news, beer related stories, convention coverage stories, funny parodies, hot girls and more geek related subjects.
Now the reasons why a non-straight nerd, such as myself, watches is because... my [weird] tv crush on Brendan Moran, my continued tv hatred & annoyance with Wil O'Neal [that new black guy slash co-host wannabe] who thinks he's cooler, smarter and just plain better then all of us, Sarah Lane's Feed [now moved to the top of the show where it belongs], Kevin Pereira's easy going personality, the segments entitled "Can Corrado Break It?" featuring the hottest AOTS employee and celebrity interviews with celebs other channels don't really care to interview [but should because everyone's voice matters].
The website for AOTS features webcams, a blog, a moblog, video, links and everything related to good geeky PC fun. And the guy featured in the post above is Jeremy, a PA associated with AOTS. He's purty and a straighty.

The Real Ads . Last night, during The Gauntlet 2 episode where an alliance came into question, MTV began airing tv spots promoting The Real World: Key West. I shouted with girlish glee when the first spot aired because each season's advertising gimmic makes the advertising boy inside stand up with a hard as fuck erection [I just threw a bunch of words together, who cares if it makes sense].
So today I posted dollar store style videos of 2 tv spots, with more to follow as I see them on the tele.

Hey you luscious big black titties,
I do not think there is a way to save youtube.com videos. Best thing I can think of is to contact the person who's responsible for uploading the video and ask where the file is that he/she used to upload is... and if you can have it via email or ftp way. ;o)

There is a way .. I think
If you're using the Firfefox browser, there is an extension you can download called GreaseMonkey.
Then you install a script. just search for it on google (ie download youtube)
There is a script for downloading Google video as well.
