True Life . Pete's Story

Update: Due to recent concerns, this post has been altered.

I just finished watching MTV's True Life: I'm on Steroids and had that overwhelming feeling of "I've seen that guy somewhere" regarding Pete's story. As the episode finished up Pete revealed which magazine featured his story and of course I had it in my large collection of muscle mags.

Many blogmasters are well aware of Pete's history on the web. Most can just venture on over to his official website Removed. [And you know, I have been fully aware that this site exists on the web but I've never taken the time to actually visit it. I always thought it was another site featuring male models but it turns out it's his official website! It's new to me!]

It's funny that this male beauty doesn't see himself as having the "perfect physique" and that he'll "do anything possible to achieve" body perfection. I think he's just fine the way he is but like everyone else Pete sees something we don't. His story on True Life was the most interesting because the viewing experience of Pete's story can be compared to watching someone continue to meticulously change something that is just fine the way it is. Pete's self-worth is just interesting to watch unfold.

Back to the web, those seeking more of Pete can view him 2 ways. If you've got the November 2004 issue of Playgirl magazine then you've got one way to see him au natural. Or you can view him completely nude at [Removed]... of course you'll need to play the site 24.95 monthly. You'll also have to pay to "get more" Pete on his official website, about 20 bucks first month and then 15 bucks each month after. [price subject to change]

Those just seeking info on Pete, head on over to Removed for a detailed bio. Oh yes, he's also done some previous work for Abercombie & Fitch shooting with the legend Bruce Weber.

And now to Pete's Exercise For Men Only 2 page article. There is no mention of Steroids in the entire spread. It does mention his writing talents [publishing 2 books] and his 5 Fitness Tips with one stating "Read magazines like EMO for motivation and knowledge. The article also says that Pete uses "whey protein shakes, glutamine, arginine, BCAAs and vitamins C and E... yet still no mention of the word Steroids.

The only other info EMO reveals about Pete's documentary is that "MTV would fly down to his hometown of Boca Raton, Fla., one weekend of every month and film essentially every move Pete made." Hmmm, so that's how they film True Life! I've always wondered how they shot these shows. The article also says the focus of the documentary is "Bodybuilding and fitness, and what it takes to achieve a top-notch physique."

Pete's story on True Life had some very nice footage including an older gentleman injecting a nude face down Pete in the ass, pinching his cheek before injection and repeated shots of Pete taking his shirt off and flexing for the cameras. For those unable to view the final words shown at the end of each story, here's what they typed about Pete's life after the show. "Pete is currently busy with his day job and has not scheduled another photo shoot. He is not taking steroids at this time."

Mr. GuyTVBlog responds: Thanks but he's contacted me and requested his full name be removed from this post for various reasons we won't go into here.
