QVC 5Way Madness . As I'm writing this, I'm fucking shopping over at QVC.com for their 20 anniversary celebration where everything, and I mean [almost] EVERYTHING you see on TV or on QVC.com is on 5 easy payments. So far I haven't found an item not on this payment method. I challenge you to find one. Never been to QVC.com? Basically you buy something on your credit card but for today, June 13th, you pay for the item in 5 monthly installments but you recieve the item after the 1st payment! It's insane!

You have until "11:59 p.m. ET on June 13, 2006 ("Qualifying Item"). This offer can only be used for products ordered via the live QVC television broadcast or QVC.com between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. ET on June 13, 2006." So get shopping!

There's that other HSN channel but they basically cater to women and have the same crappy products over and over. Stay away from HSN, especially their Clothes It All TOTAL Luggage System.

Right now QVC.com is downloading so freakin' slowly. I'm betting every last shopper of theirs is finding out and I expect QVC.com to crash by tomorrow. Wow, even their Christmas & Halloween stuff is on 5 easy payments. Act fast bitches!

Lately my gaydar has been exploding every time hunky QVC host David Venable appears on TV. Tonight he appears on their Cook Off Show later today right after Buzz on QVC with Bob. David use to be a fatty but has lost nearly all the weight and lives a wifeless life and never talks about a girlfriend or romantic interest on air... I mean never. I even emailed him to see if I would get a response and that was some weeks ago and I have yet to hear from him. I just basically asked him if he was "family" and maybe that's why I'll never get a response. Check out his vintage bio that's hidden away on QVC.com.

There's even a cruise contest but that's not working either.

Update: Well gals & guys. It's over. The 24 hour 5 easy payment thing is done. The site was crashing as I predicted. The phone lines were hell to get through. Shit was selling out left and right. HSN didn't exist for a day thanks to this TV gimmick. I assume everyone who read this took a frustrating visit to QVC.com but I did warn you. I actually got a bunch of everyday stuff so I'm happy. Although they didn't have the BOSE headphones I wanted and they didn't have any more iPods either, fuckers.

It was fun nonetheless. But keep watching 'till November because I'm betting the 5 easy payments thing will come back in some form or another, but don't quote me on that. I mean really, don't.
