Welcome to GuyTVBlog.com's newest edition to the post family, Qox Populi! Isn't it great to learn a new pop culture phrase? This creation was ripped from the MSN Encarta Dictionary's word, Vox Populi, which means "popular public opinion" or "voice of the people". Well I decided to turn the word queer [like i do most things! wink] by making you, the reader, pronance the word as "cox poppye lee". It's fun to talk dirty, teach your friends.
This is how Qox Populi will work. The post, dated every tuesday, will remain on on the front page during the week. That Commerical Guy . Last night I caught this commercial actor in yet another ad for another product. He's beautiful and very TV handsome. I first noticed him back on a Burger King and/or McDonalds commercial and then recently he was on a computer ad for something related to PC's and now he's landed a 15 and 30 second ad spots for Baileys, the original irish cream liqueur.
He's pictured above for you to see him and I keep telling my siblings that I see him everywhere on TV. I also boast that this actor has that "sitcom face" where he could play a friend that's part of a comedy ensemble. I'm telling you, he's going to land a role somewhere on some sitcom this new season or maybe at least a walk on role somewhere. He's just so gorgeous!
The problem is I have no idea what's his name so I can IMDB him and see if he's already landed a role on some film and/or television program. He is quite the looker, I keep saying that. He's just so freaking gorgeous! I just thought I'd share him with my readers. Watch for him on your tele and those eager to see him in action, check out Bailey's ad section on their website.

Passions' Ring . NBC's Passions is quite ridiculous but acceptable because it is... well, a soap opera. Everything is over dramatic and just a bit looney. But the writers over at Passions took the fantasy world of Passions and took up a notch in nutsville.
Right now some old and fugly looking guy with perfect white teeth is in Rome where he possess this cup that Jesus himself drank from. You know, the holy grail. Anyways, the world could die at any more unless the people from Harmony, the city where all the characters live and fuck, stop this old man from becoming a God.
Well this hot black actor is calling this hot latin actor and he's telling him about the old man and his plan. But then he- well here's the quote:

So far we are told to set our "VCR" but I will set my Tivo for June 29-30th. Monday Treasure . NBC's other hit show, Treasure Hunters, is a runway hit with me. This past Sunday we reality fans were treated to a 2 hour premiere where we watch 2 sets of 5 teams racing around for clues on 2 different areas of the world. The big twist for the first episode was that neither set of 5 teams knew the other set was competing thus making 10 teams racing to the big live finale that's months away.
For those who missed this exicting episode can watch from your computer over at NBC's Treasure Hunters or you can wait until Friday & Saturday to catch the premiere over 2 nights.
So far one team has emerged as the villians. Team Geniuses! They along with another team were racing to the elimination challenge escaping Team Geniuses' fatal route mistake. I won't say what happens but let's just say Team Geniuses said during the show that they have to "dumb themselves down" to think like the rest of us regular folks. Dickheads!
There are a handful of eye candy male beauties to watch including Drew from Team Young Professionals. So don't forget to catch up with the rest of Treasure addicts by watching the premiere sometime this week! It's so fun watching the show, you feel S-M-R-A-T!
