Getty Photographs The 79th Annual Oscars
It was a fun night. The show lasted 50 minutes over schedule yet kept me entertained. It was pretty lousy cutting off Jennifer Hudson's speech, other than that everything was memorable. Check YouTube, I'm sure there will be plenty of videos popping up featuring Jennifer & Beyonce's performance as well as Melissa's damn good performance of her song for Al Gore's documentary film.
Ohhh and Mark Wahlberg told us "Go to church" twice during his interview with E! news. I guess that means he's straightish and not George Clooney's secret male lover. Or he could just be trying to throw us off his masculine musky scent!

Update: Here's what I got wrong. Judi did not win Best Actress. Mark did not win Best Supporting Actress. Best Animated Flop went to Happy Fuckin Feet. Costume Design went to Maria. But it looks like I got some of them right! Yeah for GuyTVBlog's dedication and addiction to all things entertainment!

Good _god_, I hope you entered an Oscar pool with a payout. You had a better grasp on the winners than most. When "The Science of Sleep" didn't get nominated for anything visual/cinematographical, I knew I have no say in the matter. ;)

Yep I almost won the office pool but only missed 2 on their list of nominees. Not everything was on the office pool list and the categories on it, well, damn it I almost picked the old guy from Little Miss Sunshine and I figured Helen was a shoe in but I wanted an Oscar upset on both categories. Oh damn those voters for not allowing me to win over a hundred bucks!
