Ugly Betty . Episode Straight Closet
Mykel Shannon Jenkins seems to have joined the cast during the final few episodes of Ugly Betty's 1st triumphant season. Rod 2.0 has already been all over this story and reminds us that Mykel was the winner of some TV channel's show "I Wanna Be A Soap Star". I forgot all about that show but congrats to Mykel for winning something no one seems to care about.
Oh damn, Rod 2.0 also lets us know that he's married and has a child in real life. But in the show he's playing gay for show but is actually in the "straight closet" because his character feels a straight man won't be taken seriously in the fashion world so he must play up the gay role to get noticed.
Welcome to the world of Ugly Betty Mykel, hopefully your next stop will be Desperate Housewives and after that... hmmm... Noah's Arc: The Movie Part 2?
