Big Brother Australia | Gay Housemate? The Show Begins!
And so the bitter, out spoken grandmother Terri has been EVICTED from the Big Brother Australia house! That was fast. This year had 14 housemates entering the house. Terri made fast friends with Saxon, the alien loving flabby muscle head. Both found "common ground" when they both discovered the other didn't believe in God. Now if only Terri was part of USA's Big Brother 9, her and Natalie would have soon become fast bitches.
As for the "gay" or should I say "closeted" housemate this season well that would be Travis. He's 20 years old, loves Spice Girls but hates "dodgy Spice Girls impersonators" aka maybe drag queens? His profile describes him as "He has a unique look and is flamboyant and excitable" as well as reveals that he "remains true to his belief in not having sex before marriage" which usually translates to a closeted gay who uses this as a perfect excuse to stay "straight". I forgot to mention his favorite movie is "The Devil Wears Prada". My gaydar just blew up.
This year's first "twist" had the entire cast locked out of the house and stuck in the backyard. Everyone was mingling and then the boring ol' bomb was dropped. Someone was going to have a "snap eviction". Oh wait... but Big Brother himself tells the housemates "It is not a twist. It is real. The House will remain closed until your deliver Big Brother his first evictee." But... it is a twist... isn't it?
So they had to vote out one of their own, no help from the outside voting world. So out Terri went, how cares why. The next pathetic "twist" was that each housemate had to give up one of their "prized possessions" before entering the house. Ohhh shit, our "closeted" gay Travis easily gave up his bible and then says "I guess being a Christian is a lifestyle and not just living your life through words but living it through actions. So not being hypocritical, like if you say ‘I’m not going to have sex before marriage’… then don’t. [It’s] not being judgmental of others and just being really accepting."
Rima, the female little person of the cast, gave up something weird. A "belly dancing costume". Um.. okay. Meanwhile in the house the boys have all stuck together leaving out poor "closeted" gay Travis, Wait, I know he hasn't confirmed himself that he's gay but it's just easy to assume, as the house is as the boys club has opted to leave Travis out of their "alliance".
David, the resident stud, has become the new house villain. His "bros" are already started to talk trash about him behind his back.
You see this is a boring Big Brother. I will not be covering Big Brother Australia but I just thought I'd give those who do a heads up on what's happening in the house. I'd love to see David shirtless but I expect Big Brother 10 here in the states will have someone who makes David look like a fugly street rat. Here's hoping!
Now the different thing about breaking Big Brother rules in our house compared to the Australia house, well our house could give a shit if you talk without your microphone. Big Brother will just warn you over and over to "put on your microphone". But over in the Australia house if you talk without having your microphone on.... you're punished!
The first to break the rule was Brigitte. She was FORCED to stand on the outside deck and remain completely still until told by Big Brother that she was free to go.
I just signed up to see my "free 10 minutes" for the day and the screencaps you see here are what I got to see. And yes... I got to see David's beauitful shirtless body but for some reason the free live feed did not give me options to pause, rewind or replay anything I had already seen. I had to be quick. I also had to install this new software to view the feeds. Always something new with every damn season of Big Brother Australia.
In this sneak show peek we see the houseguests entering the house for the first time. You also get a first hand audio glimpse at Travis' voice. It's something that everyone needs to hear.
