Big Brother Australia Slowly Turns Into Our Big Brother! GTVB's Pick Barney Becomes A HouseMate... And Then Gets Evicted!
This year the Aussie cast was introduced to the Snap Eviction. It seems Big Brother put too many people in the house at once and had to have what they call a Snap Eviction. Before the housemates could enter the house they all have to decide who to get rid of. Terri, the very opinionated highly annoying grandmother, is evicted mostly becuase of her beliefs and age. Big Brother Australia is generally known for having a house of 20 somethings and having a "mom" figure in the house wasn't what the house wanted.
Later Big Brother introduced something they've done in the past but this time it was done earlier than expected. The "Intruders" entered the house, 5 of them. Terri was one of them but she was not back in the game, she was to be a chaperone for Australia's party boy "Corey" who was the most controversial housemate to ever enter the house.
Fans of the show wanted to drop the show out of their viewing schedules and lives all just because Corey, the kid who threw the monster party in Australia, was entering the house. And then 3 more intruders entered. Barney, Michael and Nathan. Now the house has far too many housemates again.
Now comes the twist. Corey's "mission" is to vote out 2 of the 3 new housemates/intruders. He doesn't want to do it. Actually Corey is very shy in the house, not the "party boy" the media made him out to be and he's just a completely different person, unprepared for this experience.
Terri is then given the "mission" that Corey refused to do. Terri, who's still very bitter from being voted out, accepts the mission to take out 2 housemates. Both Terri and Corey are in the Diary Room, arguing and angry at each other. Apparently Big Brother told Terri that if she got rid of 2 people this week that she would become an official housemate again. She of course accepted.
Later she went out in the house and started lying about how she didn't know certain things about the deal with Big Brother but Corey calls her out in front of everyone making her to look out to be a liar in the house. The house starts to believe Corey's accussations about Terri. By sunrise Terri has made her decision as to who should leave, this being a glimpse at an Australia housemate having the power to evict, something America's houseguests have been enjoying for some years now.
Now comes this year's all new twist. Big Brother drops a "bombshell" on the housemates by telling them that the viewing public will vote for 3 people to be nominated each week and it is now up to the housemates themselves to vote to evict this year! WHAT?!?!?
That's right. This year the housemates are voting to evict their own housemates whereas in previous editions they only voted to nominate and it was previously up to the public as to who was evicted. Almost no one in the house likes this new twist in the game, well maybe except for resident asshole David. He calls it "smart" and the "nature of the game". In the video below we get a taste on how the current cast feels about the new twist.
I expect once a money prize is announced this year, which one hasn't yet, that these housemates will suddenly be all about evicting those who are either "undeserving" or not in their house alliance. Let the Aussie games begin.
As for Barney... damn... at least he'll work on his 5 minutes of fame now in Australia. Check out his audition video again and here's hoping he'll come to Big Brother 10 here in the states for an international twist! I doubt it but my erection can dream!
Ohhh Snap Shit! According to Behind Big Brother Barney took a nude shower! Terri, what are you fucking INSANE, why the fuck did you vote out Barney?!?! Couldn't you have gotten your shriveled up old pussy lips off by watching him around the house? BITCH! And for those wondering where the hell did Rima go, the female little person of the house, she broke her leg and had to be taken out of the game! There has also been talk of her returning to the house once her leg heals. Fuck that, bring Barney back!
