HBO's TrueBlood | Jason "Brad Pitt" Stackhouse, The Sex Pot Vampire Hater! Also Rosie O'Donnell Guest Stars in Little Britain, USA
My newest TV edition is HBO's TrueBlood. I haven't had a show in the past year that has grabbed me and my nuts so fucking hard as HBO's TrueBlood has. The dialogue is brillant, the setting is wickedly sexy, the casting is flawless, the story is highly interesting, I just can't get enough of this show. Only 2 episodes in and I can't stop rewatching both episodes.
The show has exactly what I want in a show. A homosexual character, Lafayette Reynolds, who's half flamboyant and half masculine while witty at the same time. A strong female lead, Sookie Stackhouse, with a bubbly personality on life. Supporting characters with addicting accents. A male vampire, Bill Compton, who's ruggedly country handsome. And on top of all this the show features a character, Jason Stackhouse, who's shirtless half the time, literally fucking anything with a pair of tits while all the time resembling the idea of country redneck sexuality that only Brad Pitt once gave us in his erection winning performance in the film Themla & Louise.
The actor who I see as a rebirth of Brad Pitt's country redneck sexuality is Ryan Kwanten, he's the one that plays Jason Stackhouse in the series. Jason is the brother to Sookie, the show's main female lead. If he looks familiar to you then you may remember him from a he cancelled Summerland TV series and Aussie will remember him from Home And Away, an Australia TV series. He's also starred in a horror film about puppets, Dead Silence. He is a native of Australia and there he is considered a "sex symbol" while here in the U.S. he's almost forgotten in the mix of the Brad Pitt's and Mario Lopez's.
Here's some more interesting info on Ryan that should give you insight as to why his body is so TV impressive. HBO writes "Ryan qualified for the world Biathlon in Sweden in 2006 and Italy 2007 after winning the LA Biathlon series two years running. He is a qualified yoga instructor and spends his free time bike riding, surfing and completing triathlons." Wow! No wonder his body is fucking TV gorgeous. Wow! Where's Ryan's yoga workout video?!?! I think we need one!
Now according to the HBO website we are to expect in upcoming episodes a funeral where nearly everyone is in attendance except Sookie & Jason's grandmother, characters attending a Vampire drinking bar, a flashback to the war where our lead Vampire was in and an investigation by a detective that suspects our lead vampire has attempted to cover up a murder of 2 vampire killers. I love this show!
