Big Brother 11 | What The Hell Allison? Only 10 New Houseguests This Summer?!?! OHHH This Means "Intruders" Are Finally Coming To BB USA!
I some how missed this little news bit of Julie Chen revealing in this now vintage interview from The Early Show that this summer's Big Brother will only have 10 houseguests. Last year had 13, season 9 had 16, season 8 had 14, season 7 had 14, season 6 had 14, season 5 had 14, season 4 had 13, season 3 had 12, season 2 had 12 and who gives a fuck about season one!!!
My point is why attempt to pull of a season with only 10 houseguests?!?!
The obvious with this year's season is Intruders. Not sure what a Big Brother Intruder is? Big Brother Australia has used this idea over the course of their seasons and it has worked to some degree or another. Adding new houseguests mid season just works. It fucks up the alliances, the game, the friendships, the romances, creates new enemies, jump starts the drama... it's amazing.
I expect this season's cast to figure out this twist seconds once they arrive into the house and discover only 10 of them are in the house. These players aren't stupid. They will figure out how many weeks are left in the game, who has to leave during what week for it to work and how many Intruders will have to come into the house to make the show run through it's finale date.
Big Brother 11 better have another giant twist other than Intruders 'cause these houseguests won't be surprised. Now if this new summer season starts off with 13 and then adds 3 more a few evictions later then that would be a surprise as no one saw that coming.
Only putting 10 in the house will only make the house become prepared for new houseguests to arrive mid season with intent to agree that they all vote them back out as soon as possible.
Big Brother 11 better handle Intruders in a fun damn way. Like for example, a game is about to be played in the backyard, the houseguests filter out into the backyard for a new HOH game only to discover 2 new houseguests standing at their podiums ready to play the game too. They can't talk to each other but the stares will be there. Then Julie Chen will start the game and once the game is over the houseguests can now mingle with the 2 newbies with a third houseguest to enter later in the game. The third houseguest should step in and shock them again at another HOH game but this one being the endurance one!!!
I want a giant cast this year! I want Intruders! This needs to happen! No more returning houseguests crap- KAYSAR & JAMES! Once a player leaves they are OUT!
