Oprah Visits Dallas' News 8 Victory Park Newsroom!
Oprah sat down with News 8's Gloria and co-anchored the news! Yes the little things excite the shit out of me. Oprah said how "this is like my old job back" and how she hasn't anchored the news since "1983, December".
She says she "ate my way through it" referring to the State Fair to Texas. How she loved it and how she heard it was the "biggest in the country". She then talked about Martina McBride performing at the main stage on her show at the State Fair of Texas.
Next Oprah turned to the camera to report the weather. AMAZING! She then talked about school's closing, the opening of the new ATT 354 million dollar performing arts center, discussed Dancing with the Star's dancer Michael Irvin interest in dancing with her on the stage, possibly an idea for a future Oprah show!
She also tells the weather guy how she came to the State Fair of Texas hoping to experience the "Dallas heat" and how she didn't come to the fair getting what she got, meaning the cold dark weather. He jokes and talks about her wearing some "hat". That damn humor of "you had to be there" at the State Fair for the filming of her show to "get it".
Later the asshole sports guy joked with Oprah about her giving "gifts" aka a "car" to people. She laughed and said "no". He then had the BALLS to ask Oprah to "seriously" apologize "to America for introducing us to Dr. Phil". She laughed it off saying "no, I do not". He went on to speak for "all of Texas" and she asked if he was proud of "his boy from Texas".
He is quick to say "no". She then talks about him having "a few extensions up there". He then talks about Gloria's hair not being real either! WHAT THE FUCK? LOL! Gloria then talks about how they've run out of time to talk about the OSU game and he talks about how he would talk about it another day.
He then talks about how Oprah had more "lines" in this newcast over Oprah and how Gloria is supposely pissed off about it. Oprah laughs shocked that he's couning lines. The nightmare that is Dale Hanson ends.
Now they show Oprah some vintage footage of the last time she visited Dallas. Oprah is shocked laughing at her vintage look. "How on earth was I able to be successful looking like that" she jokes. Oprah calls the entire Dallas experience "delightful". Then asked what she ate at the fair and she says "too much". She loved the "corn doggie" and she says this year's fried butter was really a fried biscuit and how it was "misnamed".
